Where Color Meets Calling

Ms. Scott Studios was born from a promise and a simple instruction from the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Kira do your art”

I grew up in Florida — singing in church, sketching in notebooks, and surrounded by family, faith, and creativity. My grandmother once told me that God had called me to create, that word stayed with me. But for a long time, I ran from that call. I chased other paths — beauty, design, business, and performance — believing I had to build my life on my own. Life got tough. I was building my own life not even thinking about what the lord wanted and his protection. Yet even in my wandering, Jesus was patient. In His mercy, He found me at my lowest, saved me, and reminded me that the gifts He had given weren’t meant to be hidden and they weren’t mine and mine alone. What I once ran from, He used to bring me back to Him.

In time, the Lord showed me that art wasn’t just something I enjoyed; it was something He entrusted me with something to steward. A creative journey filled by His Spirit, leading me to create not for recognition, but for His glory. Through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I’ve learned that creativity can be worship, that God redeems, restores, and makes all things new through Christ. God showed me that my assignment is to use these tools to share my testimony and point every listener back to the Lord Jesus Christ. From that revelation, Ms. Scott Studios was born — built not from striving, but from surrender

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.”

— Psalm 127:1

“He makes all things new.”

— Revelation 21:5

It’s a reminder that whatever we surrender back to Him, He redeems and multiplies for His glory. Every creation is a form of worship, a way to honor the one who saved me and continues to call others into His grace. This journey isn’t about striving for perfection but walking in His presence — allowing the Holy Spirit to guide each step and letting His grace breathe through every color and canvas.

”Ms. Scott Studios is my yes to Jesus” — Jakira Scott.

At its core, Ms. Scott Studios is a testimony of restoration and surrender — a witness to what happens when you give your life and gifts fully to Jesus Christ, the true Creator, Redeemer, and Lord.
